New York fashion week: the highlights

From the 8th-16th, the first of the iconic fashion weeks took place. New York fashion week saw the latest designs of the likes of Victoria Beckham, DKNY, Lacoste, Alexander Wang, Diane Von Furstenburg, Marc Jacobs and Alice + Oliva.  Emilio Cavallini kicked off the show with Bold block colours, geometric prints, and even snakeskin and lace! The show went on to see Victoria Beckham's autumn/winter 2012-13, featuring dainty buttoned up designs in a vivid array of  sky blue, brown, orange, black and army green. She even accessorized with buckled up Louboutin boots and those amazing envelope clutches. There was also a fold over satchel named after her daughter, Harper Seven. After a hectic, but certainly amazing week, New York fashion week ended with Ralph Lauren, Brood, L'Wren Scot, Calvin Klein, Stephen Burrows and finally, Bill Blass.

Wow, that's a lot of iphones in one room.
