London Fashion Week is now well underway, and with so many themes, designs and possible inspirations, we now know what all those designers have been doing for the last few months! So far, we've seen a few possible trends emerging, with repeated designs featuring patchwork, brightly colored leopard print, aquamarine with gold accents, and in some cases, Aztec print (carrying on from the new high street obsession). The color scheme ranges from black, orange and hot pink, to turquoise and black with gold details. Here's some of the most eye catching examples:

Holly Fulton's Autumn/ Winter season uses a cold palette with a tropical twist for the colder seasons.

Here the designer creates varied depth with a very limited (though bright) palette and lots of busy prints. Other designs included cocktail mini dresses, Ra-Ra skirts, Geo patterns, layered with clean-cut jackets or roll-necks in matching prints.
Meanwhile, the likes of Henry Holland went for multicolored brights, using leopard print, neon colours mixed with pastel patchwork and snakeskin braces.

Here at House of Holland, blondes rule the catwalk, as opposed to the brunettes of Calvin Klein.

While the celebrities fill out piles of order forms, catching up with literally hot of the catwalk trends, the less fortunate (and famous!) of us wait for the newest trends to hit the high-street. |
